As part of the Alive Outside sports events group, HELL & BACK is Ireland’s ultimate adventure challenge, offering a fun and rewarding experience for adults, families, teens and children of all ages.

Set in the breathtaking Killruddery Estate, the course features exciting obstacles designed to test resilience, teamwork and determination in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Since its debut with just 400 participants in 2011, HELL & BACK has grown to now welcome 20,000 participants annually. It has expanded to include HELL & BACK Family, where parents can take on the challenge with their children aged 10 and over, as well as dedicated HELL & BACK Teen and HELL & BACK Junior events designed to inspire the next generation of adventurers.

After successful excursions to Co Sligo and Co Tyrone, HELL & BACK is now permanently based in Killruddery, on the outskirts of Bray. The event has also become the proud home of the hit TV show Ireland’s Fittest Family, further cementing its reputation as the ultimate test of fitness, teamwork and determination.
