Our hugely-popular School Tours, ideal for 8-13 year olds, are brought to you by the guys who run HELL & BACK Junior, and are all about the outdoors, fresh air and nature – essentially it’s back to basics for your pupils!

Plus, we can help you choose a package that is inclusive for all your pupils, whatever additional needs some may have.

Inclusivity is Central to Everything we do!
At Alive Outside, we’re working very hard to make sure we provide activities that are suitable for everyone. We want every national school pupil that visits our Adventure Centre to have the same opportunity to participate to the best of their ability and desire, and so are working with Hannah Bryson, an Accessibility Consultant, to improve our School Tour packages and make them even more inclusive.
We also know that not every pupil will want to take part in a mainstream activity with the rest of their class. So, to involve those who may be less physical or sporty, we can provide fully inclusive activities that cater for all.

With our vast 600-acre estate, we can cater for your entire school (up to 500 children) on the SAME DAY with suitable age-appropriate activities for each individual class!

Under the guidance of your Instructor, you'll be taken on a unique and fun adventure around the HELL & BACK Junior course. Everyone must work together to go over, under, around and through over 60 obstacles from HELL & BACK Junior and Ireland’s Fittest Family TV show.

Our National School Tours are suitable for children aged 7-13 so from 3rd to 6th Class.

WHAT TO PACK
We will email you a few days before your School Tour with full details of what each child should bring with them, including a packed lunch plus a change of clothes and footwear in case they get wet.
Our outdoor actitivies are designed for all types of Irish weather - but, don't worry, we do have back-up plans in case the rain is torrential!
